Okay, so in my last post I talked about knowing your numbers and the importance of tracking. That was a pre-curser to everything else we’ll talk about w/ regards to CRO. If you don’t know where you started and you make a change you’ll have no idea whether the change was good or bad.

Ad Copy Rules
Ad Copy is one of the most important things affecting whether or not people buy from your site. Unfortunately it is also one of the most difficult aspects of your site and the item that most website owners skip over.
Here’s some basic rules/guidelines that if you follow you’re Ad Copy will turn visitors into buyers.
- You must write GREAT Page Headlines
- Write a compelling opening paragraph
- Have good body copy
- Appeal to Emotion
- Write in the Active Voice
- Have clear calls to action
- Avoid Sales Copy Mistakes
