I still need to know everything. I’m almost done building my site and I am basically starting fresh.
Amy,
No worries. We all have to start somewhere…
Let me know if there’s anything I can do.

Joe I would like to see more postings on:

Joe – I just attended your PMI Conference Training in November. I have had my site published for almost a month and I am continuing with the training through the notebook and the DVD’s I received. So with that little bit of background you can see I am still pretty new at all this but am very eager to learn and try these techniques on my own website. This endeavor has my full dedication so any and all advice and learning material you can send my way, I am very interested. I have gotten quite a bit out of what I have learned so far. I especially liked the Craig’s List Video. Thanks.

Sheri,
Thank you very much for your post!
I appreciate your feedback. I will do my best to continue to provide good solid content that has helped me succeed online as well as anything new I discover.
As always, your feedback is appreciated.
Don’t forget to check my emails (as that is the main way I update you of new content).
Thanks.

Hi Joe,
Like most of us who reply, this is new and foreign to me. My site is up and “invisible” to most. It needs to be marketed and made credible. I’m still struggling with Social Bookmarking and linking; not as clear or easy to me and you made it appear.
This is not secondary but primary income to me and at this time there is none; so I’m very concerned. At times I feel like I’m “pushing a chain up hill” but I keep moving. I know much more than when I started but I don’t have any income to show for it as of yet.
Thank you for all you can do to assist in my success.
Joseph and Sandra
Hi Joe,
I’m also a newby with a published but “invisible” site.
I’d appreciate you sharing the practical things you’ve learned thru experience which are not necessarily in the StoresOnline or PMI material.
Best regards.
Hi, Joe,
We have a new site that is just beginning to get traffic. I would like more info on how to develop links and how to manage PPC campaigns. More info on how to improve SEO scores would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jan
Hi Joe
The buzz seems to be adsense, keywords, affiliate and SEO. I suppose that any information on these subjects will be good. However if you come up with something revolutionary!!!
Some good sources of PLR articles would be good.
Thanks
Paul
Hi Joe,
1st things 1st. We need to know how to get traffic at little or no cost.

Hi Joe,
My website published end of April and I am eager to learn the PPC. I have just set up my PPC with Yahoo Marketing Solutions and I am needing to know how to set this up correctly. At the PMI seminar Parker shared what settings to do on the Google PPC however I am a little confused in applying the settings to Yahoo.
Best Regards,
Jocelyn
Joe,
Thanks for asking what I am interested in learning about. First of all let me say I have really enjoyed the emails you have sent. I have learned a lot with them.
I would like to learn more about Squidoo and what the lenses are? How to post if you have more than one website.
RSS feeds that show when you do articles and press releases. What do you do with these? Blogs, are they better on the site or off the site to get a link?
As I try more things I will probably have more questions. Thanks again for all of you have done.

I like what you all have to say. Very straight to the point. All in all great blog
Hi Joe
We’re still a bit overwhelmed still. Very slow going. Need to know more about:
* meta stuff – we’re still not “there!”
* and setting up campaign’s — with who and more “how.”
Thanks for your blog!
I need to take time with it, but your emails are helpful!

Getting clicks but conversion rate way too low. I’ve used your suggestions on text/copy. Amtrying to dial in — but nothing seems to help much. What else and we do?
I’m not a newbie and would be interested in some advanced marketing ideas.
We need to be kicked in the you know what to use the Stores resources. Maybe some posts on areas of the storebuilder training area that we should really pay attention to…..other than the ones you mentioned at the conferences.
Maybe some suggested testing steps to increase conversion ratio.
Thanks!
Hi Joe,
We took a lot from the seminar in late September and we hope we have applied most everything to the best of our ability. It’s an uphill battle yet but we’ve managed to up our Alexa ranking on both sites by over 2 million. That alone to us is a big step. We were taking sales during the seminar which was also very exciting.
Anyway, I would like to know more about the bounce rates, are they good or bad and how can you tell. We are also very interested in Conversion Rate tips, SEO, PPC, and the hazards of free directory submitting (already guessed that I can really jam up the links page with reciprocal links) whew, took them out real fast.
Thanks for all your help
Bob & Sally
Joe,
Just saw this on Facebook, it may be of interest to many of us. I’m just now starting to read about it and may decide to jump on this one.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.I build my website in 2009 http://talkingbees.com I tried to build links, submitted in directories. But still I am not getting the traffic and customers.I need to advertise my website in USA,Canada,Uk, and want to target the people interested in learning Hindi ,Bengali or Music using Harmonium.I am not earning alot.So don’t want to spend a lot. Can you help me?
Thanks
Susmita
Susmita,
Thanks for the reply.
Sorry to hear things are slow going. My advice for starters would be (especially since you have a unique niche) to first, figure out who your target market is. Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to figure out where they congregate online. For example are there any Hindi portals online, etc. Once you’ve found where they congregate, then figure out a way to integrate yourself into their community (remember don’t spam the community or you have no success).
After that it’s just a matter of testing to find out what works and what doesn’t.
Take a look through the blog and you should find some other helpful post about traffic generation, etc.

Hi Joe,
I have sites and i know how to promote them i have required tools also for promotion & generate traffic but i am still confused like where should i start to earn money.
Thanks,
Ajay
Just published my site. Any information is great at this point. Thanks
Janet,
Congrats on publishing!
Hi Joe.
I have 2 sites published and am in the thick of driving traffic to my site via the PMI conference guide. Have started paid search with limited success so far, started writing and submitting articles, just did grand opening press releases, continuing with directory submissions and some social bookmarking, and will be getting into blogging soon. So any info you send out is pretty much gobbled up and put into practice at some level. I just hope for some income soon…
Thanks for all the great info!
Laura
I am working on long tail key word phrases. Trying to improve my sites ranking and traffic.
Need tips on using the Meta fields efficiently, and, of course, driving traffic to our site cost-effectively (cheap?).
Hi, Joe!
I am interested in online marketing.
Where can I find news and resources on online marketing?
Thanks!
Still working on being able to get orders. Think I ended up with a wholesaler, not a dropshipper. I’ll have to work through it by the end of the year, then I’ll have to change suppliers. Just one more glitch to mess with. Hopefully I won’t loose too much. Still working with pmi coaching team.
I am anxious for my first sale. I have 300 Plus visitors every week and the numbers are growing every week but no one has bought yet. My prices are competitive but not overly low or high, I’ve offered coupons at times, I’ve tried different shipping charges. My products are good quality items that are easy to install. I’ve added links to installation instructions and product specifications. I’ve improved product photos from what my drop shipper provides, I’ve re-written product descriptions to make them more skim able. I’ve improved navigation on my site so there are multiple ways to find the exact product that is wanted. I’ve started with a niche so there are not as many products as I plan on eventually having. My product was researched at the start for competition and demand. I should be selling! ANY ideas for increasing conversion rates will be tried for at least a week.
Joe,
I’m having lost of problems with getting qualified traffic. I’m averaging more than 125 visitors a day but I haven’t made a sale Since the first of January. I’m running sponsored search on bidacknowledge and occasionally on Bing. I’ve tested with turning one on and the other off & vice versa, I had them both on. My quality score on my ads are all 9/10 or 10/10. My sponsored search cost are getting way to high with no sales.
I’m still building links and I just published my first article. A few days ago I offered a 10% discount on one category of products still no sales. So I guess I need help on driving the right traffic and improving my conversion rate.
Thanks,
Joe George
Hi Joe,
We are still trying to get going. We are getting a little traffic as our Alexa score is 694,491 today yet we don’t have any buyers. We have enrolled in your Full Speed Ahead for January and now for February. I am a little confused with Stores On Line as they have done work on their programs and it has affected the Home Page of our website. I’ve called PMI last week and Tyson said he would have a programmer look at it. Our banner doesn’t go all the way across to match the body.
Would you be able to look at our website and tell us what you see that we need to change to get buyers? I hope this isn’t asking too much. Thank you!!
Hi Joe, we attended PMI conference in December and feel extremely motivated to move ahead. I am happy with version 1 of my website but I would like to keep SEO moving ahead. SO is building links through package we obtained from them so we can focus on other things. Firstly I would like to do a PPC campaign with 7 search. I think it would be a good start and I need help to organize and execute the plan. I would like to mention we have a great supplier for the latest in travel bags/ briefcases, featuring new technology and they inform us that we are pioneers in Canada, which makes our products unique here in Canada. We would obviously like to sell in both US and Canada but with such a unique market in Canada we would llike help to take advantage of that. Published 1st article and would like help with social bookmarking. Thanks. Judy Young
are backlinks really that valuable. Should I invest my time in setting them up. I thought I had read somewhere that they aren’t as valuable as they used to be.
Vern,
There’s a lot of buzz around right now b/c of all of Google’s updates but here’s the bottom line (30 second version).
Google “Started” their Panda Update last February and they’ve continually made changes or updates to that update.
Links are still important but have been “devalued” in a sense to make room for Social Factors (User experience, User Interface, Backclicks, Social interactions [likes, Pluses, etc]) the Key is still (and has been) to have a good mix of links (i.e. articles, directories, bookmarks, etc) now we’re just adding the need to be more engaged socially with our users.
Long story short, YES, links are still important but gone are the days when you could just spam thousands of links to your site in hopes to own the first page in Google.
