Helping people recession proof their life using the power of the Internet

Tips, Tricks, Videos and more to help you live a recession proof life!

This is the age old question (and by age old I mean the past few years so in Internet years that’s “age old”).

My philosophy has always been that, “my time is better spent (initially) when I focus on improving conversion rates”.

Let’s look at an example:

Let’s say that I have consistently 100 visitors coming to my site each day and my current conversion rate is 1%. If my initial goal was to get 2 orders a day I could either double my traffic or my conversion rate.

In order for me to double my traffic I would have to; (1) increase my bid amounts w/ PPC engines, (2) Bid on more keywords/keyword phrases, (3) etc.

With that comes increased costs (which I don’t mind if we make the money back, but remember we’re still at only a 1% conversion rate).

On the other hand if I could double my conversion rate to 2% I could maintain the same amount of traffic and improve to 2 orders a day. And how much did it cost me? Nothing, just my time.

Improving Your Conversion Rates is a little bit Science a Little bit Art

While improving your conversion rate is not 100% science there are some tools that can help us find out exactly what works and what doesn’t while speeding up the process.

My process for improving conversion rate has always been this:

  1. Create a baseline (measure your starting CR)
  2. Brainstorm ideas that I “believe” could improve conversion rate
  3. Implement each idea into my website one test at a time (the reason for one test at a time is that I have to know what’s working and what’s not)
  4. Keep positive changes and get rid of negative changes
  5. Repeat the process

As you can well imagine this is a very lengthy process but is absolutely necessary.

I finally got frustrated with how long the process took so started looking for a solution. That’s when I found https://conversiondoubler.com/.

This tool has literally changed the way I test Conversion Rate. It has accelerated the speed at which I can achieve results which means I can make my websites profitable much faster.

Here’s a quick video on how it works:
