You’ve probably heard of Google Voice by now (if not what rock have you been hiding under?)
Here’s a quick video explaining how it works (but that’s not the point of this post keep reading to find out what is)
While Google Voice is in my opinion an awesome tool, recently I discovered (I actually didn’t figure this out, I read it in a magazine somewhere. I wish I was this smart but oh well) a really cool way to use Google Voice that I hadn’t thought of.
One of the best features of Google Voice is the email transcription you get. So here’s how it works:
- Someone calls your Google Voice Number
- If you don’t pickup it goes to your Voice Mail
- They leave a message (has to be under 3 1/2 minutes)
- Google then transcribes that email and sends you an email w/ the message transcribed
You may be asking yourself what’s soooo cool about that? Well, duh, did you miss that?
You’ve just found a way to “write” articles in under 5 minutes. I don’t know about you but it takes me about 30 minutes plus per article to write a good article that is worth submitting out to the web.
So here’s what you do
- Step 1: Create a Google Voice Account (CLICK HERE)
- Step 2: Set up your Google Voice Number
- Step 3: Call your Google Voice Number
- Step 4: Leave yourself a message (has to be shorter than 3 1/2 minutes) talking about a topic on your website.
Here’s an example:

If I wanted to write an article about how to Cure Leaky Gut Syndrome 
I would call my Google Voice Number and leave myself a message talking about how to Cure Leaky Gut Syndrome. I would make sure that the voice message was under 3 1/2 minutes.
Google Voice would then send me an email with the voice message all typed up. BAM!!! Just like that I’ve got a new article that I can then go out and submit to the article directories!
